Hi everyone,
Today my chicks hatched and one was had not pipped externally (it is day 21, day 22 in an hour) I was concerned and cracked the egg, simulating the zipping. The chick came out with a marble sized yolk sac still hanging on. I left it and the yolk was fully absorbed 2 hours later. I removed the umbilical cord and everytime it chirps some insides/flesh comes out? Not a lot but it is preventing the hole from closing. The chick is quite active, chirping, moving etc... but everytime it does so the flesh comes out. I need to keep its imsides in to give him a chance at surviving but I am not sure how to without causing more damage. Please help!!
