Chick with white eyes?

I was just given a chick from a relative who they said it was sick, the chick has cream white eyes, isn’t responding to noise, very small, thin legs and has odd feathers?? (The flight feathers are very long but the Inner feathers are short). I assume she’s blind and deaf but I want to make sure it’s not something else. Any advice?

(I can add images If needed, I just don’t want to have to stress her out a lot)

Definitely sounds like it is blind and deaf. I suspect it will always be health challenged.

Did it hatch that way? Or did illness set in?

If illness, you definitely don't want to introduce it to your other chicks/chickens.

I believe it hatched with its eyes closed so they never saw it, but I would assume they were just like that.

She seemed to be responding to noise while I took these, sorry my camera isn’t great. I know for sure it’s not the lining.

The chick is blind. Nothing will make it see. It will not have an easy time surviving even if it learns to locate food. It will always be vulnerable to predators.

Next time you want to photograph a chicken, especially a particular feature, make sure the feature you wish for us to see isn't in shadow and is focused.

Well yeah I figured it was, I have plenty of time to take care of her needs if she does indeed survive. Alright it’s just kind of hard to get her to open her eyes so I took what opportunity I could without forcing her to.
