Hi, first time poster. Chicken enthusiasts for about 4 years.

I’ve never had this issue but I’ve got 22 chickens 6 are roosters.
I’ve had a few of my girls got lethargic for a few days but come good. Now I have once chirping weird and breathing is weird. She’s lost feathers around her butt.

Plus I have a young roo very tired last week but then saw he’s now missing an eye!

Never had this, I’ve got a few of my free rangers that smell gross 🤮 but well and my sick ones smell gross 🤮 too.

Not sure if they’ve gotten a dead animal. Which we have had a few rats died on the property, we have had a lot of rain and flooding. All been wormed and get fed laying mash and scraps daily. Plus meal worms or pure protein monthly.

Also my girls aren’t laying. Maybe one two every few days.

Welcome to BYC. Layer feed is the rock bottom protein they need, so if you feed scraps you may be giving them too little protein. You can feed an all flock/flock raiser feed with more protein and just put out some crushed oyster shell for calcium that layer feed has.

You have way too many roosters. They will drive the hens nuts running around, challenging one another and fighting. I would try to rehome all but one or two of your best well mannered roosters. I used to give extra roosters to a friend whose family butchered them for meat. So I stopped hatching eggs at home because it became hard to deal with so many cockerels. How old are your hens? Have any been molting? Is it spring where you live? Try separating all but one or two of the roosters, and see if any start laying again.
