Hello all, I posted earlier this week about a chick not wanting to move about which I believed was caused by some lesions I found on her feet. As of yesterday though, she won’t put her right leg down. I read lots of articles and they all seemed to suggest a slipped tendon, but it’s in the same place as her other leg and not movable. She doesn’t complain at all about me palpating it or stretching it all the way backwards. She complained quite strongly when I attempted to wrap it with vetwrap to give her more support so I removed that.
I’m at a loss as for next steps. I don’t have it in me to cull her which seemed to be a lot of the suggestions I found for chicks with leg issues. I also don’t want her to suffer.
