hi guys, I just was wondering what would cause a chick to have stunted growth, shes a brahma and i have 3 of them (her included) which i got as small babies, probably 3 days old (now about 6 weeks). She isnt fully feathered and my other two are, and she seems very light she has no bulk to her where the others do, i have been noticing this and i said to myself last week that if she doesnt start growing i will ask this question cuz i feel like she hasnt grown at all for a while i do want her to be okay im just not sure what could cause that, and we have them all in their big coop i just dont want her to get cold or anything but she will not stop chriping if i put her in the other coop with my smaller girls on the porch. She acts normal, runs around, eats, drinks, chirps, shes not being bullied, she seems like a happy chicky that is behind all the rest when it comes to growth😢 but is this a concern

Not to put this back on you at all, as I'm sure you're doing your best for her. But just some background info - what do you feed them? Can you get a photo of her and the others for comparison?

I had that problem with some chicks. Maybe they were growing, but I couldn't tell. I added a little hamburger as a treat. I just tear it into little chick size pieces and drop it. They all come running the grabbing up the hamburger. I did this every other day and the smaller chicks caught up with the others. So, now I feed a little hamburger, or some such routinely, though not every day.
