Chicken Breed Focus - Cochin

We have only had Bantams but they have all been very sweet and easy to handle. They are great as pets. We enjoy them as eye candy and fluffy ness!

They are beautiful!

Here are 2 of my newest Cochin Bantams and their adoptive mama, game bantam. I have 2 more who hatched yesterday under a Lavender Orpington bantam hope to get pics of them today.

These are some pictures of my very first cochin. Her name is Mumbles, and is a LF black cochin.
These are from a few weeks ago she has feathered out mostly now, and she is the sweetest thing <3 she loves perching on my shoulder, or arms/hands, and being hand fed.
Sweet!

Mr. Puff is one of my big boys.

I started with bantam Cochins and loved their personality. I have several black large fowl Cochins now intermingled with my other mixed up messed up chickens.

. I have a Cochin girl who is the sweetest thing and I can often be seen carrying her around the yard. They are my favorite chicken breed.
Mixed up, messed up chickens? lol I have a couple of those too! The Cochins look very nice in black.

Cochins are great!

These are my two girls (though I lost the blue one a few months ago), and I've had no bad experiences with them. They are adorable, sweet, and make perfect little petting zoo chickens. Whenever we get asked to put on a petting zoo, I ALWAYS bring my Cochin.

Sorry to hear about your loss! I love the bottom right pic. That face is asking for a caption!

My love of Cochins started with this little hen, Ebby is her name Feisty is her game. She does not take anything off of the LF hens she lives with. She is 7 yrs old. I love Cochins just hatched 2 bantam cochin chicks and 3 more on the way. Thank you for this profile of Cochins.
