If you got some time, go to Sandhills preservation. There are breeds and history there that are just fun to consider. Breeds that I have and have not ever seen or heard of.

I have nothing to do with this, just sharing the site with other crazy chicken people. It is a fun way to spend with a cup of coffee.

I liked looking at Feathersite. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated in 5 years.

Sand hills Preservation is a great place but no visits allowed. Definitely not somewhere to impulse buy because there's the printing of the form, the check or money order and the mailing to the address.
A great place though if you want to help maintain biodiversity.
