Hi everyone, My wyandotte started limping 2 days ago. I didn’t let them out on the day i found her so i can’t say if she injured herself flying down her roosting bar or if our rooster hurt her but what i thought was just a sprain is starting to scare me because she seems worse now. She was able to hop to drink water when i found her but now it seems like she can barely even keep her balance and is instead just laying down and this sort of wheezing has started. She’ll also start to randomly cry out.
I gave her flockleader 911 in her water and am now cross about to what else to do. Thinking of giving her ibuprofen for the pain as well as vetrx for the wheezing and maybe vitamin e and B complex. There aren’t any vets who specialize in chickens where i live so if anyone can give me any advice or suggestions of what else i could give her Id appreciate it thank you !
