Chicken Coop Size & Run Calculator

Looks like straight-ahead BYC recommendations. Too bad they left out roost length!
Hello CS,

I checked back today and noticed they have added roost length, feeders, waterers, toys and a bunch of new features which I think is an overkill. Haha (thanks to the team behind the site). Somehow, they stumbled upon the thread.

They also have new caculators (feed, roof pitch, genetics etc). You can find these extra calculators on their menu bar. I would have linked to them but I don't want to appear spammy.

So far, they seem to be doing a really good job at these things, I think.

I don't think it can trust that site. 10 chickens=10 nesting boxes, 1000=1000. Plus my coop would be undersized by a ton. I have 2-3ft of roosting bar per chicken and according to it I need like 20 times the coop size. I maybe a bit small but those numbers are crazy it's like saying you need 5000sq ft per human in a house. Have a family of 5 need a 25k sq ft house. Most online numbers still say I'm close to what I should be. Seen the other one said a 6x6 coop only holds 6 ducks lol. My khaki campbells stay pretty close when enclosed and never utilize the space they have. The internet is all over the place.
