Chicken Coops @ Costco!

I have that coop or very very similar. I do keep it in a 10x10x6 chicken pen I built. I have a framed hard wire piece directly under it with dirt over it..They seem to like it..

Here it is when first arrived..the pen is tarped now due to weather. The outside of the pen is bordered with pavers and chicken wire underneath them. The girls do free-range, so coop is mainly sleeping quarters

Thank you..he just loves the chicken experience. We are getting chicks this Spring, we started with pullets. He is sooo excited! Everytime he finds an egg he thanks the hens Ok one more brag shot of little man and I will stop..It has my pre-fab coop in it

aww, i miss my grandsons, all 6 of them.lol he looks like a sweet one. why do you keep that little coop inside the big one? is it a sick pen or????

It's just a little hen house and pre-fab. So to make hens safer I built a big pen to put it in. It protects the house better from weather as well. I can tarp the whole pen and there is a covered roof. Gives them much more space when they cant go outside..I had to build the whole thing myself. I just think I might be able to do a coop, I got a little model of one already

i see. i built mine and didnt know what i was doing , i put a flat roof on but it all worked out ok. i used a rubber roofing material to cover the roof. no leaks.a little pricey though

i think they have the same ones on overstock for less...

Interesting, definitely not surprised, they have carried animals products and backyard chicken keeping is on the rise.
