Pass Gas ? expend fumes .....usually I mixed together what ever is on hand and safe 4 my chickens So this time I had almost cooked pinto beans. ( I can't to save my life Cook beans till done, I've followed over the Years of I dnk how many instructions ) and put them in with the rest . . . Corn and some Rice bits of Bell peppers. after I gave it to them I thought of Sea Gulls, "Poof" Who can not pass gas. So is it safe to give Chickens beans ?

This is a great question. My wife says I cannot feed my chickens spicy stuff. Well that's all we eat, so unless the table scraps are going to the dogs, who I know can pass gas, the chickens are stuck with seed, grain, and some dairy. Don't tell her but I think that the chickens can eat just about anything and I have fed them it anyway in small amounts. So far no exploding chickens, I cannot say the same for the dogs!

My chickens have eaten lots of cooked bean leftovers over the years. They're fine.

I'm not sure why no spicy foods? Mine eat peppers, etc all the time. Lots of folks feed cayenne in the feed, it's an old tale to boost egg production.

I think that is a YES. NO UNDER COOKED OR DRY!!!
O bother, that's all I can make

Good on the Beans then ! I've got lots ! Spicy food I read makes them thirsty so they drink more and make better eggs.

This is a question that has boggled our greatest minds since chickens were first domesticated. I for one have pondered this question for hours on end.
