Chicken harness

I'm wondering if you follow them....and just have them tied to you so they don't take off.
...or whether you can actually guide them in the direction you want them to go?

I imagine that if the chicken was not very used to being handled, it would be very stressful thing for the chicken.

I can't make a harness for him because for some reason Ginger hates/is scared of the tape measure

I'm looking up buy a harness for my hens. I did buy a dog one but doesn't seem to fit right. Yesterday was the warmest day since December here in ct and there was actually a grass patch where some snow melted. I didn't put the dog harness on them because it just didn't fit right but I just put the leash in a loop under their wings. I have three decent size Hawks that are in the trees above their run everyday so I'm a bit paranoid. Here's a pic from yesterday I am looking to purchase them a harness type leash but still searching for the right one. They really didn't seem to mind the leash under their wings

I know sometimes they are for sale on the buy-sell-trade forum. You can check that out and see if any are currently available and if they ship to Scotland. Here's a link to that forum:
