Did you find a sollution for dripping waterer?

I am wanting to try nipple waterer

The solution at this point is to place a tin pie plate filled with gravel underneath. I have to empty it constantly though.

I thought maybe it was leaking around the seal of the nipple to cap but as I watch them drink I can clearly see it drips around the metal bar. I may try changing the nipple to the better quality one.
