Hello!

I didn’t know where to post this, since it’s not really an emergency or a disease (to my knowledge). My chickens have very inconsistent poops. At night and sometimes during the day, normal poops; sometimes wet poops, but still solid-ish; sometimes just liquid. Sometimes it’s brown, sometimes it’s just a bunch of grass. Why is this? I live in Florida, so the temps here reach up to almost 100 Fahrenheit with over 90% humidity. I also clean their runs twice a day, picking up any poop I can, and everything under their roosts once a day, just to keep things as clean as I can.
None of them are acting lethargic or have a lack of appetite, the hens still lay. I may have found a round worm in a poop, but I wasn’t sure; I’m probably going to worm them soon, but I did just do it in April. Worms can probably get pretty bad in wet, hot weather.
Should I cut back on treats? They really enjoy their daily scratch in the evening, but maybe it isn’t the best time of year for it. And they get watermelon every few days (even on days without the watermelon, they get wet poops).

This really was a bunch of rambling, I’m sorry. Anyway, thanks for any thoughts on the matter!

There's lots of different kind of 'normal' poops.
When it's hot and they are drinking more, looser poops can happen.

Good visual references for all kinds of poops,
just don't jump to any terrible conclusions too quickly:

Thanks for that link! I had a near heart attack until I read this. Normal. Her poop is just normal but my god it looked crazy!
