Chicken Run - Roof and "snow proofing" help

Make your roof framing strong, and plan where you'll rake snow off of it.
Or just add mesh to roof and shovel the inside.

well, I added a slant roof frame and did a polycarbonate roof.

does anyone have any ideas how to snow proof the sides for the winter?

ALL good suggestions! -- just this week I've been adding wood posts in the run and installing clear plastic variegated roofing sheets so our Missouri snow runs off. I'll secure a very used BBQ grill cover around the east side to keep snow and wind to a minimum. Now I'm glad I built the door to swing out rather than fight ice. Remember the coop that stays dry and is ventilated at the top is most important. If possible, ask your wife to help :love you're a good man!
