Will snow be an issue where you Are?
It looks great but I'm trying to understand why the fence under the bridge is there. Are they separate properties?

Snow won't be an issue, we are on the coast of NC.
I have a nice sized backyard. Most of the yard is fenced in, then I have some side yard that isn't fenced and the shed is on that side. I didn't want to have to cut a hole in my shed or the fence, so I decided to make this bridge into the window. With the run inside the fenced area I can just let the chickens out to walk around if I want. Although they can still jump the fence even after I've clipped both their wings.

First of all, FANTASTIC set up! Love the bridge and I love the nesting box, reminds me a bit of a tool box. I've never clipped wings, but I believe the strategy is to cut the flight feathers only on one side, throws the balance off.

Yea I had only clipped the one wing and they were getting out, so I clipped the other side. Some how they are just able to jump and flap real hard and able to get just enough lift to get on top of the fence then jump over. Luckily they just go into the shed when they do it trying to get to the nesting box. But they can't get in it from there, that is what the bridge is for :)
