My bantam Cochin does that too, she’s less than 2lbs. I think it’s just the size of humans that scares them, but idk how her brain works. Mine Loves to play “hand attack” where she chases my hand and then follows my fingers with her headWhen i go to give my bantam buff Cochin hen some scritchies, she makes a distressed noise!? I call her chic ( from the iconic duck and chick from friends) but her name is snowball abd her best friend is our pet duck lolOMG TWINSSS I have that with her baby too, I think it’s just sizingwhat’s her name?
my baby chicks hate that from above, they love under their chins scratched becuase they rather go into my hand thanTry bringing your hand down and approaching from underneath her head, not from above. Chickens are programmed to be afraid of anything that approaches from above because it could well be a hawk.
