I'm not too sure about Roosters, MotherHem203! Sorry to hear about chilly Oswald Maybe try using fleece rather than cotton? I know Suede can be somewhat constricting for a Roosters feathers :/

So I wanted to test this baby out before I got all excited and posted it but here it is! Pocahontas has a deep injury from the rooster...he didn't mean to he just gigantic. She wasn't happy inside although she was spoiled like a princess and so I wanted to put somethig on to protect her. The firs one I made I didn't even get to take pictures of because she had it off in minutes.... This one I decided needed to be double thick cotton and something around the front to secure it but not go so far down as to accidental catch on her feet. I used some thick elastic and made it very loose around her neck it hides just under her cheast feathers and it loose enough if she ever got hung up on it it would stretch right off. This has been on her now for over a week with 0 adjustments from me and the rooster can still do his buissness!!! Lol her wound is healing well. It is fairly dirty but there isn't much you can do to keep a chicken from rolling in the dust but no reinjuries and it's healing very nicely!
