Especially for combatting specific issues like egg production.

Thanks! I though chicken scratch, mealworms/shells, Barley, and Kelp Meal (commonly found in treats) all help with egg production?

Favorite treat here: wet chicken feed made into mash. My chickens like it like pancake batter consistency. They go crazy for it any day...but go wild if I add some scrambled egg or sprinkle some small seeds on top... they go into blissful orbit if I hide a few blueberries or cut up cherries or canned tomatoes in it.

Scratch is best for getting them to come when called. Shake it around, say chick, chick, chick and they come running for the handful of scratch you toss!

Or make treats using the ration as s primary component....the "flock block" recipe I use has a heavy presence of the crumble I feed
