Would a vaccinated chicken give antibodies or immunity to its offspring? I know dogs pass immunity from the vaccines they are given to their pups until after there weaned. Is it the "same" for chickens? Im looking for experienced answers and some just best guesses.

They can, but any protection the chick got via the mother hen fades away as the chick grows, so they are not technically vaccinated like their mother hen was.

I wonder if nursing is the reason mammals pass on antibodies to their young though because I know that’s how it works with humans. We also pass antibodies via the placenta (and even those are pretty depleted after six months I think). So if I get a vaccine when I’m pregnant it is supposed to protect the baby after it’s born for six months. We could probably get into a crazy vaccine efficacy discussion but probably shouldn’t lol. I know from experience that kids get antibodies while nursing and chickens don’t nurse or gestate so I would imagine any immunity is generations in the making. That is my best guess. If we’re lucky some genetics nerds will answer this question properly.

Seems like it may be limited in certain situations and it may depend on which vaccine.

Often the best way to find answers is to search out papers/studies/publications about each vaccine available, there's a lot of material out there just waiting to be read.

Here's just 1 about Newcastles:
