Chicken wound

Two of my fluffier chickens were getting their fluff pecked at but I guess I wasnt keeping a close enough eye cuz one of them has a quarter sized chunk missing and I'm Just now noticing it. Ive isolated her and sprayed it with antibiotics and the surrounding feathers with peck me not but I'm not sure what else to do, it's in a weird spot on her lower back that I don't think I can wrap without it coming off and her neck is to small for the cone I have, and I'm Like, broke af. Help?

Sorry to hear your hen got hurt. Can you post some pictures of the injury?

To treat, spray x2 daily with the wound spray (make sure it does not have psi reliever in it) or you could use saline, instead. Then apply a triple antibiotic ointment such as neosporin without pain relief to the wound. Reapply whenever needed to keep the wound moist at all times.

Once blood is draw from things like feather picking or mating, etc, the flock mates sometimes don’t stop going after the blood, which causes the wound to get bigger and bigger.
