This is probably one of the few times I will be on the chicken-side of BYC!! 
I visited my sister’s school that she teaches at earlier today, and was surprised to see they have chickens?! I was happy to see they seem to be pretty darn well taken care of. It’s an all-hen flock, I think? and boy, were they gorgeous and friendly! This is only my 2nd time seeing / being around chickens, I was super surprised at how calm they were! Picked up a bunch of them and fed them leaves. Amazing
