Chickens panting in coop

So if I were to add ventilation, would these be the places to do it? I could add small vents on these two sides to let the air run through to supplement the open wall. Thoughts?

I would raise the roof up a foot, put insulation under it, and 1/2" mesh all around.

Hi there! I'm also in Gainesville, FL. You probably aren't having this issue currently - but I also had this issue over the summer, lots of panting! I added a solar powered fan to my coop - but I wish I had gotten the version with a battery so it could keep going at night. It would run during the day, and definitely helps move the air, but as soon as the sun is covered by clouds/night sets in, the coop was hot again.
