Chickens vs. Barn Cats - Looking for Suggestions

I put the bowls in a spot unpleasant for the chickens to stand on. In my case it's on top of my garbage cans. The lids are kinda slick so the birds don't like standing on it but the cats don't mind

Team meetings are a good idea. Although the hens might team up on me... Do you think I could get all 50 hens to listen at once? I could see it getting heated quickly. I'll try it tomorrow morning. If I disappear, you know what happened.

Feed the cats at night. They are rather nocturnal, and the birds should be cooped up.

I usually do, but then by the morning, they are convinced they are starving and insist on being fed again. lol

You are greatly outnumbered. At this point, I'd just forget the meeting and instead choreograph a mob flash dance. Maybe that will keep the chickens busy rehearsing so the food is forgotten and the kitties can eat, but maybe not.
