I have 4 chickens, 8 months old, and two of them have some white poop on their butt feathers. They seem otherwise healthy. They are in a coop/run with peafowl and I feed them layer feed with mealworms. I have not wormed them in a while (I did worm the peafowl).
I have ivermectin, moxivet, corrid. What to do? I’m a new chicken owner. TIA!

What breeds? Is there blood in the stool? My australorps had messy bums because they were just super fluffy back there.
They are black sexlinks. Got them at TSC when they were chicks. No blood. Poop on feathers is white. No smell. Should I just bathe them?

In the past, I've gotten my husband to hold them while I give an EXTREMELY careful trim (nowhere near the vent with scissors always pointed away). It doesn't 100% fix the problem, but it cleans up the worst of it. I don't know where you're located, but in my area it's still too cold for any type of bath. I also found that new layers tend to be a bit more dribbly back there, probably because their system is still working all the kinks out.

Thank you! I’m in South Louisiana so fairly springlike now. Will try cleaning them up to see if it continues.
