You can take her to small claims court....and you will win

Thats what I was thinking. I know dogs that got 1 chance....3 strikes you have a good case!

I was told by the Francestown cops that the dog owner IS liable for your vet bills. Talk to the animal control officer. That's ridiculous.

That did seem funny to me. I had my dog bite another dogs ear, and I had to pay the vet bills.

That's right, my dogs drove out a mean dog from my coop, one who was killing my chickens....well their dog had 7 or 8 stitches & the AC told me I was liable....but it came out even because their dog was in my yard, killed my chickens & one of my dogs had a torn ear. And now their dog is tied all the time, has to be. And I got an apology.

Thanks Shay and Jose for hosting another great chickenstock! I enjoyed seeing everyone and all the birds and other animals. Thanks to Tom, 2 bantam Americauna roos and my splash bantam Wyandotte cockerel went to a new home. Thanks Gypsy for taking "Pynchie" my sweet little Pyncheon cockerel, Thanks Debbie for buying the Orloff babies! We had a great time

He bonded very quickly with the little hen, they are unseperatable, they sleep cuddled up if she gts up to drink he goes with her, if she gets up to eat he goes with her, its so sweet.

I took both out today and put them in a secure run to eat bugs and play in the dirt, needless to say he came back in a very dirty little bird lol.
it was so sweet watching them side by side eating bugs and such.
I think he was the best thing I could have done for her, she is very comfortable with him.

If they never lay an egg or raise a clutch of babes, I will still be happy with them, they are just so adorable.
They havve a place of honor right near the door, everyone who has come in has stopped stared and asked what breed they are, these are birds no one sees very often.
maybe I can generate more interest in the little birds, and they are so quiet I still have yet to hear the little guy crow, I am dying to hear it.
