Chicks arriving in a week!

We’ve ordered 7 chicks from Meyer Hatchery that are scheduled to hatch June 18th so they should be arriving in a week or less. This is my first time ordering but my brother has experience ordering so I can get help from him. When I went to get supplies from TSC I couldn’t find electrolytes; maybe I didn’t look in the right place. I’ve heard apple cider vinegar works fine but it’s not Bragg brand; is that fine? I have the brooder box, food, feeders, waterers, and the heat lamp. Yeah, I’m probably freaking out a bit but I’m just too excited! Just random tips and how to best bond with your chickens would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!

YAY! I got my chicks from Meyers too! Amazon sells the chick electrolyte if you cannot find it locally.

Feed them from your hand and pick them up and rub them under the chin. I do some other crazy things that make the, think I am their parent like saying 'cloe' after a broody hen's call

I don’t know if this sounds crazy but the seven are going to be a different breed. RIR, Buff Orpington, Black Jersey Giant, Barred Rock, Buckeye, Partridge Rock, and a Black whited crested polish. The coop is gonna be 8x8 (yeah I know that is really big) and the run will be as big as the land provides.)
