Are 10 week old chicks are getting very big and I think they're going to outgrow they're a glue Pro. We added the chicken run and got it together their first day in the chicken run was yesterday.

We actually took the doors off their Igloo Pro and attached the pro to the chicken run and it is functional now the girls can play in both and still have the safety of their Igloo pro at night.

Their Chicken Run is secure and safe we're going to make it safer by adding to foot inch steaks all the way around on the actual bottom bars of the chicken run and in the mesh every few feet or so right now we just have cinder blocks and some stakes.

We want to add some toys for the girls inside the chicken run any great ideas would be appreciated you know to enrich their little Minds I also want to add something that makes this chicken run better then just seeing cinder blocks all around it like flowers or plants that are safe for the chickens any ideas would be appreciated. I am so excited and I love watching them play and yesterday they went from one end of the chicken run all the way to the other end of their Igloo Pro is so awesome to see that they're enjoying it.

Looks pretty cool!!

Here's a post about how to make a cluttered run. This is usually for folks integrating younger chicks with adults but some of this would be fun too. We just put a very large branch of a tree that blew off in our breeding pen. It's got lots of heavy branches on it. At first they all acted weird about it but a half hour later, they're all climbing and jumping.

You being in Florida and us in Wisconsin would have a completely different selection of shrubs/flowers to plant around your run so I'd be no help there, but here's a link to an article about chicken friendly plants in case you let yours free-range at all.

You could get 12"x12" pavers that would suffice for the job you want it to do.

Thank you, this is good, I am going to make notes. I have a pallet that looks like the one in the pictures and another very nice pallet. Thank you.

I missed this one...

Been a couple months. How are your chickens doing? How did you finish your coop & run?

Here are some threads here on BYC that could be helpful. I think these are my posts but will need to check.
