Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(That is true, they both need a hug! now they can be broken together and hug it out! )

Layla chuckled, it was probably a good thing she wasn't too into snacks then. She cocked her head and gave him a puzzled look. "Do you mean like my voice in my head, or like other voices in my head?" She asked for clarification.

Adrian gave a husky laugh, "No not distracting at all. But I do think I should check your pizza, wouldn't want it to burn or anything." As he moved to go check on the oven he let out a low breath, very distracting, very distracting indeed. But then again he was pretty sure she knew that already despite what he said.

Saskia smiled and moved in front of Madison and closed her eyes focusing on just the scents in the hallway. " Alright, I am going to follow Ashton scent, its mixed with a old lion scent, this way. Ugh your right, she smells a bit like swamp under it all." She said as headed off in the direction directed, she stuck out her tongue at Madison to convey her dislike of the smell. "So tell me about this lion, is he purdy?" She took a right down a different hall, stopping a bit to catch the scent again.

Eliana paused at the door, her hand extended towards the knob. He sounded as broken now as he actually was, and that made her a bit sad remembering his kindness before. She thought about it for a moment, did she want to stay? He was the first person to be kind to her and to believe she was capable of change. She turned back and looked at him, in the center of his lab, looking so dejected. "Alright, I'll stay. I never really got to drink my tea anyways, and I broke the mug. I am sorry about that, and the counter." She replied quietly as she turned and walked back over to him. "Do you..need help with anything?" She asked looking up at him. It would be better to stay here with him, even after all that had happened, maybe because all that had happened, then to go back and sit alone.
Vasper looked to Layla Layla drawn out moment. Should he chance it? Would she ridicule him? But in the wake of those thoughts, his lips spilled forth an undeniable truth. "It is a voice in my mind, not my own, but in the guise of my tormentor as a youth." He looked down ther hallway as they walked. What would she say to that? He wondered. "That you're bat in the belfry crazy." The voice in his mind accused. He clenched his jaw with frustration.
~~~
Willow grinned unabashedly as she watched Adrian move to check the pizza in the oven. " How's it looking Hoss?" She asked with a drawl. It was looked very good from her angle. Posterior was always one of her favourite views. Especially bent over looked into that oven. Down girl! She chastised herself.
~~~
Madison smiled and closed her eyes as she imagined what Allen had looked like. "Oh, yes. You could definitely say that. And there was something about him.......something I just can't put my finger on." She explained with a sigh. "Are we there yet?" She asked as she opened her eyes and looked to where Saskia was leading her.

It felt as if Alastor's heart was in his throat as he watched Eliana's movements, as it her very actions would influence the rest of his time here. As she'd reached out, almost touching the door handle, he felt an immeasurable loss. But she didn't leave him like everyone else had, she came back to him. She'd chosen to stay. He blinked out of his stupor at her soft words. He smiled weakly and was quick to reassure her, " That mug was not mine and if it was, they are dime-a-dozen. Let's get you that tea. I could actually use some more coffee myself. As far as how you can help. How are you at typing? I do need my notes transcribed. I'm dreadful at it. " He put down the first aid kit he'd been holding like an idiot and moved to a cabinet that had a few mugs. He brought two over to the beaker he used for his hot water only. He poured hot water into both mugs and mixed instant coffee granules in his. "Did you find a tea you liked in the variety pack" He asked conversationally.
(Somehow, I doubt that will be happening anytime soon. :D Neither is the touchy-feely kind.)

Victor nodded, asking softly as if he were a father “Should I Get your sippy cup Lucy. I have apple juice, your favorite.” He burst out laughing at her shortly after, glad he couldn’t tease her some more.
"Apple juice? Really?" Lucy threw her hands up in surrender as she turned away. "Nah, I think I'd like some more of that tea, papa dear," she called over her shoulder.

Andorra nodded with that. Accepting that it was true for both of them. "Well, I hope they catch the culprit and deliver swift justice." She said with a shudder of regret for the vengeance in her words. No one could hurt her friends and get away with it.
Donella sighed and sat back so she was leaning against the wall. "I hope so too. If we have to, we could stay in here, I got some snacks and water in here."

(Thank you. :hugs )
"If only Anuerin shared that certainty. So much hurt could have been avoided over the years. " Ryker murmured quietly to Amaryllis. "Come, you need your hydrotherapy. " He added gently as he pulled back to look to her. He hadn't forgot and wouldn't see her laid low again because of such on oversight.
Amaryllis looked up to smile at Ryker, drying tears glistening from her cheek. "Alright, then." She replied in a more upbeat tone. She was growing weaker by the minute, but hadn't mentioned it for fear of ending their conversation prematurely.

Priam nodded his agreement. "I'm not sure it has to do with blood type, but then, I didn't ask, nor do I know much about that stuff." Hearing her question, he immediately backed up, though it wasn't really necessary. "You wouldn't receive enough of the toxin in a single touch to die. There's always a small amount on the surface of my skin—thus long sleeves and gloves—but I can produce a lot more when in combat or under stress. It involuntarily happened in the gym."

Allen poured a handful and dug through it for a chocolate pieces. "Yeah, that would be swell. Maybe the opossum pal could be of help there." He frowned slightly when he realized what he'd said. "Except Gideon doesn't know about it, so you'd have to tell him then."

"You're saying I can't have nice things?" Haley raised an eyebrow as she looked to him. "Then I guess it's gonna be you over the plant." She moved on down the aisle to the checkout, a wide grin on her face that he wouldn't see.
Irine flushed as she said, " Oh, I see. Lucky me, I guess. Remind me to never go to Vagas. " Here lips curved up into a smile. It was a jest to ease the awkwardness of moments ago. "So what are you?" She asked curiously.
~~~
Ashton shift in her seat and thought about it. "I guess I could. They frog cave is no longer a big secret. TV would definitely be worth it, I think. " She said with some consideration.
~~~
Dyrus pulled out his wallet as the cashier started tallying the items. "The flaw in that lovely statement is that I never said I was nice." He said as he looked at the horrified expression on the cashier's face. He smiled pleasantly and winked at the cashier astarted he asked with a chuckle, "Tell me, do I look like a nice boy?"

"Oh...Um..I don't...know you sir." The cashier answered hurriedly.

Lucky both of them, really. Priam chuckled lightly, glad she wasn't upset with him for what had happened. "Various breeds of salamanders," he said, to answer her question. "Ryker was curious as to how various types of DNA would work together. So far, so good. Except for this, of course, but that would have happened with the toxic one alone." He managed a smile for his question, "And what might you be? Will you tell me now that we're out of the gym?"

"You're gonna need more furniture," Allen said matter-of-factly. He stretched an arm across the sofa. "'Cause Ole opossum ain't getting my side of the couch."

"And the flaw in your statement is I never said you were nice," Haley replied. She turned to the cashier. "The plant was nice, but he isn't letting me get it, so I'm stuck with Mr. Not-So-Nice."

Amaryllis looked up to smile at Ryker, drying tears glistening from her cheek. "Alright, then." She replied in a more upbeat tone. She was growing weaker by the minute, but hadn't mentioned it for fear of ending their conversation prematurely.
Ryker smiled and offered his hand in assistance to Amaryllis. "Not that you need it, but it makes me feel better should your strength wane any as we walk." He explained quietly. " Plus, it helps me look chivalrous." He added with a humorous grin.

Andorra smiled at the thoughtfulness of her friend. "That's a good idea. Why didn't I think of it?" She said as she stood to lock the door.
"You were in classes all day" Donella teased then chuckled and got up to fish the supplies out from under the bed. "This is what I did instead of going to class."

"I'm a Coati." Irine admitted timidly. It was a strange animal. Not many had heard of them. She was surprised by the amphibious contributors to Priam's DNA. "It must be hard being so toxic to others. It must make the simplest tasks, seem monumental." She observed aloud before she could think better of it.
~~~
" Territorial much? But at least you could help heft another forgotten piece of furniture down here. So, not a hardship in my book." Ashton asked with a laugh.
~~~
Dyrus's jaw dropped with mock offense as he looked at Haley. He then turned to head back to collect the plant. When he returned with it, he said, " Now, don't you feel bad? Especially since that Mr. Not-So-Nice turned out to be Mr. Pretty-Nice-Indeed?" He asked with humor.

The cashier smiled at the couple as she added the plant to the tally.
