Christmas tree in run?

Is it a bad or a good idea to put our real christmas tree into the run after we are done with it? I thought the chickens might have fun playing around on it but I want to make sure I’m not doing something harmful. The tree has no flame retardants on it but I know it’s not organic. Let me know what you think or if you’ve done it before!!

I don’t think there is an issue at all with doing this and I think your chickens would enjoy the change of scenery

You’re welcome! I wish we had a real tree so I could give it to our ladies. You’ll have to let us know how they like it
