We bought Rural King's version of Cinnamon Queen day old pullets. Rural King says the are red sex link females from RIR rooster and SLW hens. We'll see? They look exactly like the pullets labeled Welsummer in a separate bin of Rural King. I'm not very confident in the staff of big box stores. I'll post some pictures to get some opinions. SQ, Welsummer or something else?

They don't look like Cinnamon Queen chicks to me either. Could be Wellsummer, Brown Leghorns, there are quite a few breeds that look like that as chicks. Many feed stores are notorious for mixing chicks up. I got a Wellsummer in a batch of Black Australorps once! Definitely was not an Australorp from the get-go!. Got another Wellsummer in a batch of red sexlinks. Sometimes you have to wait til they're older to know for sure. Both my Wellsummers were great broody hens.

I think 4 of the 7 chicks are cream legbars. They have a crest showing up. The other 3 may be cinnamon queens.
