When I have a really sick one that's what I do, but I also give them the medicated water.Thank you very much. Did not know I could administer directly.
I would try the severe outbreak dose of Corid, not both together.
1.5 teaspoons powder per gallon *or* 2 teaspoons liquid per gallon. Give for 5-7 days, make fresh daily. If you have the liquid you can give it as an oral drench. Dose is .2ml per 2.2 pounds. Small chicks I give one very small drop to.

Quote: Yes, that's what I mean. A five pound hen would get .45ml, so .5ml is close enough, lol. If they have a strain that's sensitive to Corid the *one* oral dose is usually enough and then they start drinking the medicated water.

This vaccine covers only 4 strains(the most common)Eimeria acervulina,E.maxima,E.necatrix and E.tenella, vaccine contains live oocysts. There is a vaccine called Immucox for Coccidiosis It's easy to administer through the drinking water and you can give it to chicks 3 to 5 days old.The name of the company that sells it is www. bestvetsolutions.com or the phone # is 888-378-4045 they also sell other vaccines and products and are more reasonable in price than jeffers who sells the vaccine as well.
