Does my Cochin boy look full Cochin. My rooster (black) died about three months ago. But i managed to incubate and get just one baby from him. Now i was sure the egg was from my white Cochin hen.
But now im wondering why he isn’t as big or as feathered as his dad or mom is. His dad was bigger than him at that age. He looked almost majestic.
Now im thinking he could be from barred rock hen. Can you get this pattern from a black Cochin rooster and a white Cochin hen? Or is it my black Cochin with my barred Plymouth Rock hen?? Below are some pics
