last week I was cleaning coop I always sit with them after just to watch for anything unusual. Well one of my roosters looked like he was yawning opening his mouth but almost trying to get air. Looked strange. Then this week I saw a hen do the same thing. I went out this afternoon and I have a hen sneezing and I could her her breathing like a little whimpering sound. So I separated her then on my way out noticed another hen doing the samething. I give them rooster booster cell liquid vitamins and layer booster with omega 3 weekly. I give them dried meal worms and black solder larvae. Of course their crumble. Corn they are spoiled. I did introduce 6 hens that were kept separate for 2 weeks. And slowly allowed them to mingle for about a hour at first because of picking order. Know the gate is open for all to roam together. They seemed fine. They are about 7 months old. Sorry for long story but besides the cold symptoms some have diarrhea green looks almost like food that hasn’t been digested completely. But every one is still eating and drinking. What’s happening?

I would note how many are sneezing and how often each of those sneeze. It could be that they have been exposed to a respiratory disease such as infectious bronchitis. Have you noticed any bubbles or foam in either eye, or nasal drainage/dirty nostrils? It does sound like a few were adjusting their crops. Do they have granite poultry grit available and are they on a balanced chicken feed? Corn and scratch is not a balanced feed.
