I think I have Marek's in my flock, and I want to give all my chickens colloidal silver in water, because I have heard that some people do that. Does anyone know anything about this? I have ionic colloidal silver which says it is 45 ppm, and I want to make sure that it is safe, and how much to give them.

I don’t know how much to give them, but I gve it to my sick chickens and they got better if it’s any consolation.…

here’s a thread I found https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/colloidal-silver-dosage.1277070/

I don't put colloidal silver in my chickens water, I give it to each chicken with a syringe, but I only give it to them when they are sick. I give 1ml of silver every day (to a sick chicken), my silver is 10ppm. It's hard to give too much silver to a chicken, but it is good for them.

Do you dilute it or no?

No, I don't dilute. Like I said, it's hard to give to much silver to a chicken, so you could give up to 5ml every day. But depending on the chicken it could be hard to syringe silver to your chickens. So it's probably better to put it in water.
One more question (this might be a silly one) but what color is the stuff you use? Mine looks kind of white, and I thought it should look brown, but I don't know.

Mine is clear, here's a pic of what I get. 20220218_192300.jpg

I would only agree to colloidal silver for external use, as it could easily accumulate and do more harm than good when used internally.

Although silver has a proven inhibiting effect on the development of bacteria, keep in mind that it does not distinguish between good and bad bacteria.

Not true at all. Improperly made silver and many on the market are indeed not good to use but quality silver, at 5 to 20 ppm or so is essential to have on hand and to use it, for everything and everyone, including plants. It does not accumulate and anything even remotely close to what a person would use. That's all propaganda.
