Yes I always tell people to wait an extra day when they come into the store and ask why we don't have their package when it says delivered. For some reason USPS likes to mark things delivered preemptively

Yeah. DHL said my drone would come on Monday and it came today. I somewhat prefer it when that happens.

Because, so long as I know the package is coming and I don't have to sign for it, then it gets here earlier and I am happier.

I use this trick on my tech support customers. Under promise, over deliver, just not too much overdelivering. So long as I do that, I have happy people.
