Conjoined twin duckling

Pics
This little duck of mine has a beak deformity- not at all the same thing, but he is a little "differently-abled" and has great quality of life! He was the only runner/mallard cross of 9 mallard ducklings, required a little help to hatch, and was instantly our favorite! He has one squinty eye as well, which has earned him the name of Long John Silver, the Pirate Duck! (He was silvery grey when he hatched) He now hangs out with my bantam chicks and sometimes with his older half-brothers; I sold the regular mallards from his hatch, but we didn't want to part with this guy!

You should check out this thread, it’s about a duckling with a similar deformity:

So o just hatched my first batch of the year… I am not new to chickens or ducks and have seen treated pretty much everything, but this…
One of my ducklings has another duckling complete with two legs and feet and feathers coming out of its abdomen!! Any one ever seen anything like this before?
Oh this is very cool! And it's alive!

I JUST LOOKED AGAIN THE TWIN HAS WINGS TOO!!
I had a duckling hatch with an extra pair of legs which went into one foot that then went into two feet, i thught it was a partial twin, however my vet said that it was most likely that germ cells got knocked away from the main embryonic clump of cells and as a result kept growing and differentiated into this two, 1 leg 2,1 foot thing protruding from its belly, but that it was neber a twin, just a clump of developing and differentiating cells knocked off the embryo probably when the mother duck knocked the eggs.
In the case of mine the extra leg(s) was dragging on the ground and becoming injured and irritated so needed removal, luckily it had no bones or major blood supply connecting it to the belly of the duckling, mostly just skin, and i guess it must have had some small blood vessels as the extra limb was alive and had a blood supply, but because there were no bones or major blood vessels etc, my vet was able to remove it with just a local and a couple of stitches. The duckling grew up normally and is still alive now, 2 yrs later.
