Coop Sand

It's a lot less dusty than the PDZ I used to use. The play sand I've used doesn't clump. I've replaced all PDZ with sand. I love it for inside the coops.

Well, sand is made of silica which is a respiratory irritant. Birds have especially sensitive respiratory systems, so that's why it's best to use a coarser sand. I've never noticed PDZ being dusty, but I haven't used it much.
