Could you get sick from the raw egg in eggnog?

I don't worry at all about drinking mine...there is enough alcohol in it that I doubt bacteria could be a problem.

I use this same theory with oysters on the half shell - I'm safe as long as it's kept at a ratio of two swallows of General Butcher's Marine Recipe Marguarita to each oyster.
