Cream crested legbar without crest

On Thursday I picked up five CCLB pullets, all definitely pullets and all pure from good stock. They are roughly 10 weeks old from the pool of them, though I didn’t actually ask how old they were. Four have crests but one has no sign of one. When should they have been grown by, and why might this one not have one?

She is missing a crest all together. Son technically she is a Silver Legbar instead

But aren’t they genetically different. Cream being gold and cream but silver being silver and either cream or not cream?

Also as far as I know it’s from a blue egg not a white one? But I get what you mean for purposes of this individual’s appearance as a type it’s no different to the silver.
