Just take the eggs away from the broodies. Gather the eggs every day. Oh, some broodies don't like giving up their eggs. Mine don't seem to mind, I only had one that pecked hard. So I'd wear a glove while collecting under her, and when she saw that I was determined, she gave up pecking me.

Only had a broody hen once; and she never really pecked. She was more fluff up than offensive.

Yeah, I’ve had two broodies and both were completely fine with me messing with their eggs. Never pecked or was aggressive at all.

How could I forget the broodies? Even if they do, there are ways to break broody hens.

My little broodies have found places to hide and like to go broody when im away. Luckily i didnt have a cock at those times.

No, I don’t have a lot. We typically keep an eye on them while they are out and about.

But why? I must be confused I thought you said that you could have roosters and that crowing wasn’t a problem? As long as he doesn’t get aggressive and you are careful about collecting eggs daily, there is no reason to rehome him right?

You cannot remove any reviews -- so what he has possibly done is create large amounts of fake accounts and given himself 5 star reviews.

I wouldn't be surprised that someone shady would do this at all! People are crap.

But just wanted to correct this; you cannot, as a business owner, just delete or remove reviews of your business.

We are keeping him.

We ended up with 3 Roosters from our first foray into chicken keeping (I purchased 3 straight run chicks from Tractor Supply, 100% of them were roosters)

We keep them in a 'bachelor pad' on their own away from the ladies.

Once everyone is laying, we *might* pick one to keep with the girls. Not sure.

yeah did some digging around out of morbid curiosity to see what I could find and it was quite easy to discover that there is no actual location for "Feather Lover Farms" and there *is not* any Google Business location.

Moreover, there is a long long long list of BBB complaints and many forum posts on Facebook and other places complaining about the horrendous customer service.

Apparently he rents land to house chickens on all over the Sacramento area in CA

I'm wondering if a call to animal control in Stanislaus County would be appropriate.
