I wish they would just leave the time one way or the other.

Rutting is beginning here too, but so far all I've seen is one young buck (4 point) who has been hanging out with two young does. The does are now looking at him sideways and keeping their distance, when he starts doing what I call the rut strut. It has been pretty funny to watch this trio. But the bucks are somewhere because I'm suddenly not seeing many deer in the yard at all.
