I am a little late to the sourdough craze- but thought with the snowy winter we have been having in NY it would be a great challenge. I received the starter from a co-worker that I commute with. One boule in and I was hooked. While his loaves experiment with add ins and flavors, I like to keep mine tried and true with the artistic flare occurring in the scoring. No one in my friend and family group is upset with my new hobby lol

This morning I baked pinkish-red heart-shaped health biscuits, with nuts which I hand crushed with pestle and mortar.
