Curious goose behavior

I have 3 mixed geese, they look mostly Toulouse. They can't fly however at times the male will honk loudly, run around flapping his wings and the 2 female follow with the same behavior. I'm just curious if anyone has insight to why?

If it helps, they mostly do this in the morning when I go to feed or if I don't sit with them in the afternoon, I noticed they do this in the evening when I go out to check on them. If I'm able to get a video of it, I'll post it to better explain

I was thinking that since they aren't aggressive, just very spazzy and goofy lol thank you

I've noticed that such behavior seems to increase in the autumn. Remnants of the instinct to migrate? Only the geese know, and perhaps not even they remember.

My geese do this in the morning, when I walk / run away, or when I start talking loud and excitedly. Definitely seems like a playful, excited behavior!

Yes it's the time that mine do as well. I've been mimicking certain behaviors to help make them more friendly (or at least I like to think it could). I honk back or in this case wave my arms. Today they were in their enclosure while I had the yard mowed and they went all crazy when I opened the door

Very much so lol I never thought I'd like geese but I can't get enough of these 3
