Hello! This morning I was holding my 6 week Olive Egger and noticed something between his/her (I’m leaning his) legs. It looks like some kind of cyst, and it’s scabbed over. When I was touching it to take pictures, Olive didn’t really seem bothered by it, and his behavior is completely normal otherwise! Please let me know what I can do to get rid of this!

I apologize for the pictures, it was tricky to hold him and get pictures. I’ll try to get better ones once my husband is home.

Can you get a better close up?

I didn’t see any fly larvae, so I think it’s probably not that?

Yes, I will get better pictures this evening when I have some reinforcements!

Here are some hopefully better pictures of the cyst-thing!

Posting pictures may be helpful. If you suspect an ingrown feather cyst, you can disinfect the skin, and make a small incision or open it with a needle, and squeeze any pus out. Look for a feather inside it and remove it. You may want to start a new thread of your own for more attention.
Here's something I found from a previous thread. Hope this helps!
