Cytopoint for Dogs

I've never heard of this treatment. I just wash my dog in an organic oils based soap as well as using oil on his coat which has cured his dry itching problems.

Another solution I've used on my dog when he has had something that upset his tummy was activated charcoal.
I've used oils in his bath too. Actually his coat is very soft and shiny, it's quite healthy. Early on I had hoped dry skin was the issue, alas it wasn't this easy. :D

I've heard of this stuff but have never tried it although I've tried every allergy supplement, every oil, all the shampoos and Oatmeal baths, probiotics, herbs that help with itching, we have ruled out food so at least we know this much. I am going to try homeopathic meds next, can't hurt.

But definitely post a link and I will try it on him!
Here you go- https://thenaturaldogstore.com/products/four-leaf-rover-bovine-colostrum
I hope it works for you, I really like this website and all their products. I do a lot of research on homeopathic remedies there, and love it! I have learned a ton. :)

I hadn't heard of a dog having that severe of a reaction but anything's possible. Sorry it didn't work for your dog, I've seen it help so many :(.
Yes I had heard such good results from this injection, so it's unfortunate. Cytopoint targets one small portion of the immune system and when ever you mess with these functions there are possibilities of bad reactions from the dog rejecting these man made drugs.

@Weeg Wow, that website has a lot of good stuff on it, I will definitely try the Bovine stuff!
Doens't it? I use DogsNatraully.com for my raw dog food recipes as well. They have a ton of good articles too! I just ordered a bunch of their supplements to supplement our senior boy as well. Mostly immune boosters. They have really high quality stuff for sure.
I really hope the Bovine Colustrum works for your boy. :fl

Toby definitely needs some immune boosters after this escapade. :( And hopefully this injection hasn't done any damage. I saw this web site has mushrooms, I definitely want to try him on those. I will do some reading of the articles too, I like to know as much as possible!

The Vet said he's had some dogs receive only one or two shots of Cytopoint and it altered the way the body reacts to allergies and itching was completely gone for good! After all Toby has been through, at least I will hope this is the case for him! He won't be itching, if he is going to, until this shot wears off in 4 or so weeks. So I will be watching and the moment the itch returns, I will order some of the Bovine Colostrum. In the mean time I may order some of their other stuff. Thanks so much for your help!! :hugs

You are very welcome.
I love doing research on holistic/herbal remedies. I ordered Green Eggs (anti-inflammatory and joint support), Immunity (mushroom blend), Pro and pre bioitcs, and Bovine Colustrum for my pups. Interested to see how it all benefits them.
I'm so glad I could help! I have that website bookmared for a lot of my dog questions.

Mushrooms can never hurt, they've been known for thousands of years to help with immunity and overall health. My hubby has skin cancer and years ago started taking a mushroom blend, he hasn't had another spot appear on his skin since. Of course we can't be 100% sure this is why, but why risk it, he keeps taking them! :D
