Dark Brahma - Rooster????

Me thinks my Momma Brahma is a Poppa Brahma. She's just over 4 months old. Her facial features have been developing right along with her other sisters - 2 white rocks, 2 RIRs and 1 EE. But now.... I've not ever had a female mount another female before. No crowing but an awful dog like howl she is practicing. So I'm looking at male Dark Brahma pictures and I'm thinking.... she ain't...a she..... What say you??

I had one, too that looked like yours.

Also had to find him a new home, because we live in the city. I was told the white "band" across the wings is a sign of a cockerel. "Fuzzy Feet" was such a neat bird, too!!

Dark brahma hens look different than dark brahama roosters... and that's a rooster. Here's my dark brahma pullet with one of my light Brahmas.
