Ok I have a hen sitting on 20 day old eggs.
Her water leaked and soaked her nest. Luckily, I caught it early and the eggs were not very cold. So, I redid her nest and put her back on it. So, I checked under her on eggs to make sure she wasn't own them...... then I felt something silmy. And a egg had a crack. It smells yucky and oozes greenish stuff.
So, i should throw it away. (I don't want to throw away a chick.)
Earlier last week, an egg broke. I don't know if it exploded or my dog got it.
We did not candle because I didn't know what to look for. However, I did candle earlier today and a few I couldn't tell. But some definitely had a well ll air sack and a mass.
Please tell me what to do:
I hope not all the chicks aren't rotten. We bought them off ebay and seller had great feedback. The eggs were packed great (double box)
