Day old chick with possible hip dislocation

Hello, I have a day old chick that cannot get one leg under it. It sticks too far forward, not out to the side. I currently have a thin strip of band aid on both legs to connect them to try to get its wonky leg in the correct position. It has a very hard time trying to move around and often sits and peeps. It is currently with the hen who hatched it and 5 other chicks inside in a brooder lined with puppy pads. It’s too hot outside for my comfort and I wanted to keep an eye on that particular chick.

Attached are photos of what I believe to be an hip dislocation. Any advice you guys can give is appreciated.

Does splay leg present with a pretty obvious deformation up by the hip/first joint?

I tried that technique but it did not help, unfortunately. The whole leg feels like it is rotated perpendicular to the body rather than parallel.

That could be a twisted tibia leg bone deformity, and no treatment can help. Here is a link about those:
