Hiya! Thanks for the reply we’re day 10 & have seen lots of movement until now & the veins seem to be less visible now the eggs are darker ( all of them not just this one)How long has the egg been in the incubator? If it's still very early on, I think the duckling is still alive. I don't see many nice, red defined veins, so I'm guessing this egg wasn't put in the incubator too long ago. Maybe just when you saw the embryo today the duckling wasn't moving. I don't see any signs of the duckling not being alive anymore, so try candling the egg later and wait a few more days to see if the duckling has developed more or if the egg is starting to look/smell bad. Also, just be careful to not take the egg out of the incubator a lot and for more than 5 minutes at a time to prevent and damage and cooling to the egg. Hope I helped!
Just try waiting a few days for any progress..... At this point, it seems the eggs may not be developing properly. What is the incubators temperature, humidity levels, and how many times are the eggs being turned every day?Hiya! What makes you think thatJust try waiting a few days for any progress..... At this point, it seems the eggs may not be developing properly. What is the incubators temperature, humidity levels, and how many times are the eggs being turned every day?
At day 10, he eggs should have lots of dark red veins all over the eggs. A lot temperature could be causing slow development... but it seems like your temp is good. It could be the ducks genetics or just bad luck with the eggs. What makes you think that37.5 & 55% yes they are in a auto turner set to every 2 hours
